Lunch was at Kwan-Yin Tea House
198 Wickham Street
Fortitude Valley

I'm a return customer
due to their value-for-money tasty food, excellent service
and of course the nice ambience

Diners today.. KING MING and

..Doice Low

We ordered Chocolate Milk Tea and Taro Milk Tea
Both are friggin awesome!
The best in Brisbane, not kidding.
It beats every establishment handsdown in pearls and fragrance.
$3.50 each

Veggie Chicken Rice
The chicken is crispy and tasty
Very good value for money
Comes with cabbages, bean curd, potato, tomato, brocolli sides
Rice is properly cooked
Not the top grade jasmine rice, but hey its $8.50!

Mixed Minced Meat Noodles
Doice could not finish the large portion size
so I helped myself with it
I said "Wow.. can't believe its not meat, right?"
and she went crazy "What? Its not?"
Friggin amazing!

Fried Dumplings
Don't really remember the price
but the ingredients are like "popiah"
Very cute taste!

Chargrilled lamb skewer
Rich flavored spiced chewy lamb
Taste like a more meaty version of our "satay"

Pancakes at the Manor (City)

Brunch with Kellybestie at
Pancakes at the Manor
18 Charlotte Street

The building was actually an old church since 1904
and made into a restaurant in 1979

The manor's Bell Tower is one of the highlights in Ghost Tours
(by the way Brisbane was voted as 2nd Most Haunted City in the World)
People always hear rattling chains inside the locked stairwell

Ok, less ghost stories more yum yums
The first page of the menu is of course,
their specialty - Pancakes

Today I'm gonna have the $13 lunch special

Entree Crepe
Seafood in a creamy white wine sauce served with saffron cream sauce

Entree Crepe
Vegetarian crepe served with herb tomato sauce

Single pancake with ice cream and maple syrup

You may also opt for extra coffee or soft drinks at $1.50
and/or fresh side salad at $2.50

Kuan Yin Tea House (Fortitude Valley)

So we went to Kuan Yin Tea House
198 Wickham Street
Fortitude Valley

Famous for their teas and excellent service

And of course, the vegetarian dishes are epic

The shop is run by very very friendly Taiwanese aunties

I had a Pearl Milk Tea
The pearls are legendary!
The tea is awesome.
These Taiwanese aunties really know their stuff.

There's a joke on every lid
Just like in Singapore

The ambience is peaceful and relaxing
hiding in its little corner from the busy streets
I found myself dazing into the streets feeling like I'm in another dimension

Oh and they're environmental friendly too
