Singapore McDonalds' Mala Burger 麥當勞麻辣漢堡

Finally tried the Singapore/HongKong McDonald's Mala Burger 麥當勞麻辣漢堡, it's awesome! It's more like Peri Peri instead of 麻辣. Often taken for granted - Garlic Chilli Sauce, where in other countries they give you the sweet chilli sauce and/or make you pay for ketchup. #comfortfood #maccas #mcdonalds

Hainanese chicken rice is a dish of Chinese origin, most commonly associated with Hainanese, Malaysian and Singaporean cuisines, although it is also popular in Thailand. It is based on a well-known Hainanese dish called Wenchang chicken (文昌雞), due to its adoption by the Hainanese overseas Chinese population in the Nanyang area (present-day Southeast Asia). Hainanese chicken also appears as a speciality in Vietnamese cuisine.

Pit stop for some Roti Prata
The prata has always been known as Paratha in the Indian subcontinent while it is usually known as roti prata in countries where the food is not originated from but much liked such as Singapore. Roti prata is derived from the original pancake recipes from India and Pakistan, and is commonly known "Roti Prata" in Singapore.

Gurney Drive (Changi Airport T3)

Ordering system is like Hong Kong 茶餐廳 you write down on a piece of paper and pay at the cashier before your meal.

Penang Prawn Noodle Soup $7.95
Pretty good, but not impressed for the price, 2 prawns 1 pork rib, 3 pork slices
Yellow noodle + bee hoon

BBQ Lala (Clam) $8.95
Approximately 40 pieces for a small plate. I'm guessing it's not a'la minute cos there are more shells than meat on my plate, hence it must be from a pre-cooked tray

A lil pricey for quantity, not quite value for money despite being accurate on taste and fair on presentation. Ambience is interesting, can be improved by playing themed music instead of 90s Chinese hits. Service is not bad, table clearing is slow. Side condiment station can be improved.

I rate 6.5/10
